How Events are Sorted:

First, at the top of the list: Disaster Hotline & Oregon Safe + Strong Helpline.

Next in the list: Bundled “All Day” Events for organizations with events happening at multiple times throughout the day and/or in many formats or locations; these are bundled into a single listing to prevent endless scrolling.  Usually these offer a lookup by zip code or other criteria.

Lastly, Time-Specific Events listed by start time from 12:01am early morning to 11:59pm late night.  Warmlines and places east of Oregon’s time zone tend to start earlier (e.g. 4am in Oregon is 7am in New York).

Hosted by the Oregon Health Authority

“A Time for Families:  a weekly drop-in discussion hour”  – OHA Child and Family Behavioral Health has created a phone and video link to talk each week with parents and family members. OHA – Oregon Health Authority – Child and Family Behavioral Health: A Time for Families:  a weekly drop-in discussion hour – Thursdays @ Online Via Zoom
May 6 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Hosted by the Oregon Health Authority

“A Time for Families:  a weekly drop-in discussion hour”  – OHA Child and Family Behavioral Health has created a phone and video link to talk each week with parents and family members. The intent is to offer a time for questions and concerns about services for children and young people who experience mental health or addiction concerns. It is also an opportunity for a discussion about suggestions for OHA to support youth, young adults and their families getting the right service at the right time for the duration needed.

Online Thursdays 12:00 PM Pacific Time

The call will be hosted by the Director of Child and Family Behavioral Health, Chelsea Holcomb, and the Family Partnership Specialist, Frances Purdy. Also attending will be representatives from the OHA Ombudsperson program and the Parent/Family Help Line to follow-up with specific immediate concerns.   “A Time for Families” is every Thursday from noon until 1 pm.
