Coming soon! This training module will help healthcare workers identify victims of human trafficking and know what to do if they encounter a victim of human trafficking within a healthcare setting.

Audience

Healthcare workers and public health professionals across disciplines including but not limited to health educators, nurses, administrators, environmental health workers, and community health workers

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the types and venues of human trafficking in the United States
  • Describe potential warning signs that a victim of human trafficking might exhibit
  • Describe screening questions and tools that might be useful to identify victims of human trafficking within the healthcare setting
  • Recognize the legal options available for a victim of human trafficking
  • Describe the need for comprehensive models of care for victims of human trafficking
