COVID Crisis Line for Incarcerated Folks in Oregon and Washington

poster

We are thrilled to announce that the COVID crisis line for prisoners is now live!
FREE for Oregon Dept. of Corrections (ODOC) and Washington State Dept. of Corrections (WSDC).

Call 503-329-9740

on Weekdays, Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm PST

and on Weekends, Saturday through Sunday, 12pm-6pm PST.

Beyond These Walls has crisis call volunteers who are trained to provide information on Coronavirus to prisoners, in addition to providing emotional support to those who are in distress. All data they collect is being used to inform the work of the statewide coalition of organizations advising Oregon Department of Corrections and statewide officials in Oregon, in an effort to shape their policies impacting prisoners.

If you are connected to any people who are incarcerated in Oregon or Washington, please let them know about the crisis line. The line has been registered with ODOC and WSDC so prisoners in either state can call for free.

Though Beyond These Walls is an LGBTQ+ organization, prisoners of any identity can call the line.

The number is 503-329-9740.
