Digestive Tract Paralysis (DTP) — a group of conditions including gastroparesis, chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, and colonic inertia — is recognized nationally each August as Gastroparesis Awareness Month, spotlighting the daily realities faced by patients living with delayed digestive motility.
The American College of Gastroenterology, G-PACT, Guts UK, and IFFGD are contributing free virtual peer support groups, patient podcasts, a recorded expert webinar, and downloadable awareness campaign materials throughout the month.
