What Are COVID-19 and RSV?

COVID-19
COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It spreads primarily via airborne droplets and aerosols and can cause mild to severe respiratory illness. The Oregon Health Authority is hiring a Complaint & Grievance Process Administrator to oversee the Medicaid Division’s complaint process for Oregon Health Plan members and providers. This role champions fairness and equity by investigating concerns, resolving issues, and driving improvements that strengthen accountability and the member experience.

Complaint & Grievance Process Administrator (Operations & Policy Analyst 3)

The Medicaid Division designs, administers, and continually improves Oregon Health Plan (OHP) programs so services are delivered effectively, equitably, and in alignment with state and federal requirements. Within the division, the CCO Services Unit supports Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) through technical assistance, resolution of complex operational issues, and collaboration with partners to strengthen policies, systems, and service delivery.

The Complaint & Grievance Process Administrator oversees the Medicaid Division’s complaint process for OHP members and providers. The position monitors compliance with federal and state requirements, identifies and analyzes complaint trends, and supports quality improvement initiatives that strengthen accountability and member experience. It ensures alignment of complaint processes across OHA and ODHS programs; provides training, guidance, and technical assistance to internal and external partners; and represents the division by communicating policy, program, and regulatory information to legislators, state and federal partners, and community organizations. All actions strictly comply with state, federal, and CMS regulations.

This position collaborates with populations most harmed by social injustice and inequities, building and stewarding positive, partnership-based relationships with diverse communities — including communities of color, immigrant groups, the disability and neurodivergent communities, veterans, older adults, individuals identifying as LGBTQIA2S+, and other communities that have been traditionally marginalized.
